Free Saturday Research Surgeries

Would you welcome some expert advice about your research? On the third Saturday of each month we offer free one-to-one half hour research surgeries at Northumberland Archives – Woodhorn. Members of staff are available to offer advice about sources etc. You can book a research surgery on our Eventbrite Page – Northumberland Archives Events | Eventbrite.

Free Tuesday Research Surgeries

Each Tuesday we offer 30 minute one to one research surgeries in the reception area at County Hall, Morpeth. You’ll be able to speak with an experienced staff member about your family history, house history or other research topic. Staff are able to demonstrate some of the digital resources available in our searchrooms and at County Hall and suggest how these might assist with your research. Sessions are bookable on our Eventbrite page – Northumberland Archives Events | Eventbrite.

Attending An Activity at Northumberland Archives – Woodhorn

Many of the activities that we offer are free to attend. There is a car parking charge payable when you come on site. The site is managed by Museums Northumberland who administer the on-site charges. Museums Northumberland staff will be pleased to explain the charging options to you.
