Introduction
In August
2011, as part of the 30th anniversary celebrations
of the Berwick Record Office, Linda Bankier, Berwick
Archivist and Anne Moore, Berwick Museum and Art
Gallery Curator, gave a talk on the History of
Berwick in Ten Objects. The talk was so successful
that it was decided to develop it into an online
exhibition using the original items selected to
illustrate various aspects of Berwick’s history on a
thematic basis.

Please note that the Berwick Record Office is open
to the public on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9.30am to
1.00pm and 2.00pm to 5.00pm. Berwick Museum and Art
Gallery is open to the public from April to end
September, Monday to Friday 10.00am to 5.00pm.
