The Seaside Through Time

This topic is intended to be used with children in Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. The documents include photographs showing Spittal Beach in North Northumberland and Newbiggin Beach in South Northumberland throughout time. Archival photographs from the late 19th century and early 20th century have been retaken to show the same areas in 2021 so that comparisons can be made. 
 
Learning resources include question prompts, key words, reading lists, suggested activities, and a teacher planning sheet.
