Activity – Maps
- In pairs, spend 5 minutes looking at your chosen map. Make note of all the buildings you can see.
- Make a class list of all of the buildings identified on the map.
Constructing the Manor

- In pairs – choose a building from the class list
- Construct your chosen building
- Put all of the buildings together to form a manor
During the Animating the Manor workshops, we used recycled cardboard and MakeDo Kits, but this activity can be done using any materials of your choosing. We spend half a day making the models, but this could be adapted for either longer or shorter sessions.
